New House, New Job

Well, it's official. Last week, Angela and I put down our earnest money and signed a contract to have a new house built in Laveen, Arizona. (Laveen borders the southwest edge of Phoenix.) We're both really excited as the new house will be a considerable upgrade from our current one. It's a 2200 sq ft two-story with 4 bedrooms. In addition to the new house, I have recently decided to resign from Goodrich after almost 6 years to take a new job with Ducommun Technologies. Ducommun is a small aerospace manufacturer located here in the Phoenix area. I'll be working as a Quality Engineer / Supervisor. I'd like to thank my good friend, Mark Maher, for lobbying hard to get me over there. I will officially start the new job on October 19th.
